As a Fellowship of concerned Christians associated with Dignity/Washington and as a Leather/Levi club within the lesbian and gay Leather/Levi community, we, Defenders LLC, commit ourselves to be a source of outreach to others especially within the Leather/Levi community; providing a positive guide influence and assistance in dispelling the unjust myths and attitudes associated with our type of love and forms of self expression.

We pledge to be faithful to the ministry of Dignity/USA as we together help other lesbians and gay men reconcile their spirituality with their sexual orientation, as we help the greater Church and society look favorably on the lesbian or gay individual, and as we minister to our disenfranchised sisters and brothers who suffer from the effects of homophobia and illness.

We therefore evoke the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we come together to serve God, our community, and each other.
